By accessing or using BeatConnect ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
BeatConnect provides a platform for music creators to build, publish, and sell audio products including sample packs, audio plugins, and related digital content. We offer storefront hosting, payment processing integration, and content delivery services.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload to BeatConnect. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
5. Prohibited Content
You may not upload or distribute content that:
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Violates any applicable laws
- Is fraudulent or deceptive
- Contains hate speech or promotes violence
6. Payments and Fees
BeatConnect charges a commission on sales made through the platform. Commission rates vary by subscription plan. All fees are detailed on our pricing page. We process payments through third-party providers and are not responsible for their fees or policies.
7. Refunds
As digital products are non-returnable, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Creators may set their own refund policies, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your content may be deleted after a reasonable period.
9. Limitation of Liability
BeatConnect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
